Terms of stay

Reserved rooms will be available for occupancy from 2:00 PM on the scheduled arrival date. The standard check-out time is set at 12:00 noon.

Booking cancellation

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Check-in time is at 2:00pm. Early check-in is subject to room availability with corresponding charge. Checking in between 10:00am and 2:00pm incurs a charge of 30% of the room rate, between 6:00am and 10:00am incurs 50% of the room rate, and before 6:00am incurs the full room rate.
Check-out time is strictly at 12:00noon. Late check-out is subject to room availability and will be charged PHP 250.00 per hour. Check-outs beyond 6:00pm will incur a full room rate charge for the reserved room type.
The hotel is not liable for any lost items especially valuable items such as gadgets, money, jewelry and etc.
The guest agrees to pay room charges upon check-in while incidental charges must be settled before check-out.
All rooms are non-smoking and bringing of any food items with foul odor are not allowed. A cleaning fee of PHP 2,000.00 will be charged accordingly for violators.
A cash incidental deposit of PHP 1,000.00 per room is required at check-in. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out, provided the accommodation passes a damage inspection.
Visitors are only allowed until 10:00PM. Visitors who stayed beyond 10:00PM will be charged as an extra person.
Children 11 years old and below are free of charge when sharing the room with registered guests (adults) and no extra mattress is required. Maximum of 2 children sharing with adults in a room. Children 12 years old and above are considered adult and will be charged accordingly.
Hotel reserves the right to send guests away from the Hotel due to their conduct and behavior or for any other safety, security, medical reasons. This applies in particular, if guests do not observe instructions given by hotel employees, express themselves in a discriminating manner, harass or endanger other guests.
Bringing of pets are not allowed.
Lost or broken keycard will be charged PHP 200.00.
The hotel is not liable to any untoward incidents that may happen during your stay.

CANCELLATION POLICY AGREEMENT:

• Guest who does not arrive within twelve (12) hours of the check-in date and time of the Hotel will be charged the total amount of room reservation.
• If the guest wishes to cut short the length of stay, the full amount of confirmed booking is due and cannot be refunded. While we do our best to inform the guest of our policies, it is ultimately the guest's responsibility to be aware of any minimum stay requirement of their reservation.
• FORCE MAJEURE. The hotel shall not be held liable for cancellation of bookings and shortened stays because of force majeure/acts of God or conditions beyond the hotel's control, which includes floods, earthquake, explosions, fire, civil disobedience, war, and epidemic/pandemic.
• Rebooking must be made at least 5 Days prior to the expected date of arrival to avoid forfeiting the amount of the down payment made. Strictly, one-time rebooking for the reservation so the guest can still use the down payment
• Vela Hotel is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes. Once booking is made, the reservation deposit is non-refundable.
